Swimming with my cousins at Indian Creek Camp

So, here we are at Indiana Baptist Creek Camp!! What a fun surprise....my cousins, aunts & uncles, and Nana came to visit with me at camp! We had a good time laughing, playing, and splashing in the water. As you can see from above, me and my Uncle Stevie had a great time hanging out by the pool. Ben got a little excited while waiting on his mommy to take him into the pool while we had all gotten in the pool. Sorry Ben!! I'm glad your mommy was there to help you swim with us!! The water was a little cool, so I clung to mommy. I really liked splashing in the water. Bailey and Delaney had a great time jumping off the side of the pool into daddy's arms while Ben and Drew had fun riding on the noodles and kicking in the water while daddy made boat sounds. Aunt Cara and Aunt Crystal had fun with us in the pool too while Nana & Uncle Stevie soaked up the rays!

The lifeguards were so nice to give us a special swim time while the campers had rest time. During this time, Delaney, Ben & Bailey had so much fun jumping off the diving boards!! They are so brave! I can't wait until I get to jump into Aunt Cara's arms!! WOW!! LOOK AT THEM!

Indian Creek Baptist Camp July 2007

Ok, so it is time to start back - logging!! From June - mid July, I had soooo much fun in Sewanee! We left July 13th, dropped off our belongings in Jackson, TN and then continued on to Indian Creek Baptist Camp in Bedford, IN. Driving through the night was a new experience for our famiy. Trust me, we were pretty tired on Sunday but excited about the upcoming week. My daddy drove the whole night to camp, took a short hour nap, and began living with a cabin full of Jr. High School boys for a week...in a non-airconditioned cabin!! Whew!! Mommy and I got to stay in the cool with the most amazing camp managers, Paul & Joyce Scott. What a joy to live with them! We truly felt like we were at home. Thank you for being such amazing hostesses!!! We appreciate you!!! Mommy says that she felt as if she were on vacation....she didn't even cook one meal! :) Thank you for loving us soooooo well!!!

Among the many precious friends with whom we were able to reconnect were Greg Perkinson, Ronnie & Paulette Perkinson,
Lyndal,
Tim, Angel, Madelyn & Lilly,
Kelly & Jane,
Bonita & Jenna,
Zach, Melissa & Allie Mullis
Deb, Scooter & EvanBree & Lee, and many more!!! Daddy especially loves this camp b/c he has been counseling here since he was in High School! Many memories!!!! Zach & Chris are proud new daddies!!!!

Just In From Sewanee, TN

Hi everyone! Thank you for coming to my blog. As you can see, I was up very late last night working on this site for you. If only I had created it earlier in life....sorry, I was a little busy. I've gained a few skills in the past few months and am excited to keep you better updated!!

Mommy, daddy, and I arrived back home to Jackson around 10:45 pm last night, Friday, July 13, 2007. Our time in Sewanee
was soooo much fun and relaxing. Mom and I spent our time eating, napping, strolling, hiking, and talking with friends. We saw lots and lots of deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and rabbits. Oh, yeah, and one rattlesnake. Daddy almost stepped on it. Yikes!!

I also got to meet lots of new people- daddy's new professors and schoolmates, Sewanee locals and others. Mom and I also enjoyed going to playtime at the park on Wednesdays at 10 am where we met with other moms and children. Daddy and I enjoyed many fun walks together and playtime on his study breaks. He is so silly! We have tons of fun together. I really like it when he tickles me with his scruffy face, plays peek-a-boo, and reads me his poetry.

Well, we are leaving for camp in Indiana earrrly tomorrow at 4 am and then in the later part of the week to see some of my favorite people! So, I will write more later! Gotta get some sleep before the trip! Much love to you all!!

You're so talented.

Thank you so much, son, for doing this. I can see how many people the world over can benefit. My you have progressed wonderfully in seven months.
